Acura Defends Watkins Glen With Front-Row Start, #93 Qualifies Fourth
Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun start second for the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen. Kaku Ohta, leading Super Formula, joins the sister car.
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun qualified the number 60 Acura ARX-06 second for the Sahlen's Six Hours of The Glen, Acura said. The car will start from the front row in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event.
The sister number 93 Acura ARX-06 qualified fourth, the company said. That entry is co-driven by Renger van der Zande, Nick Yelloly and Kaku Ohta. Both cars are run by Meyer Shank Racing with Curb Agajanian.
Blomqvist and Braun are the defending race winners. According to Acura, the pair "led just two laps on the day, but led the only one that mattered" to win the 2025 edition of the race.
Ohta is a Honda-backed driver who competes full time in both the Super Formula and Super GT championships, Acura said. He leads the 2026 Super Formula championship with Docomo Team Dandelion Racing.
The race airs flag-to-flag on NBC Peacock beginning at 12 p.m. ET on June 28, the company said. Live flag-to-flag coverage will also be available internationally on IMSA's YouTube channel and on Radio Le Mans via IMSA.com.
