Correction
On an index score printed as a point total in Ford's JD Power result.
An earlier version of our report on the JD Power 2026 APEAL Study gave Ford's result as "849 points." Ford's own figure is an index score, not a point total. An index score and a point total are not the same measurement, whichever brand's number gets the wrong one attached to it. The record is corrected.
