Correction
On a pound added to Clemson's Deep Orange 17 by a conversion.
An earlier version of our Deep Orange 17 column gave the prototype's weight as 1,213 pounds. Clemson's release says 1,212 pounds, alongside 550 kilograms. The higher figure is what 550 kilograms becomes when a desk converts a number already converted for it. One pound is the difference between reporting a weight and recalculating one. The record is corrected.
