Kia Prices the Gas 2027 Sportage in Nine Trims, From $28,990 Excluding Destination
Kia America said Aug. 26 that the gas-powered 2027 Sportage runs from $28,990 for the LX FWD to $39,890 for the X-Pro AWD, MSRP, excluding a $1,495 destination fee, and that the X-Line trim now carries a standard panoramic sunroof and smart power liftgate. A new Road Rider Brown exterior color joins the range, with a two-tone roof available.
IRVINE, Calif. - Kia America announced pricing for the gas-powered 2027 Sportage on Aug. 26, in nine trims from $28,990 for the LX FWD to $39,890 for the X-Pro AWD.
Prices are MSRP and exclude a $1,495 destination fee, Kia said. Kia's footnote says MSRP excludes handling, taxes, title, license fees, options and retailer charges, and that actual prices are set by the retailer and may vary.

The LX AWD and EX FWD share a price at $30,790.
Kia said the X-Line trim "will now be equipped with standard Panoramic Sunroof and Smart Power Liftgate, as found in the 2026 X-Line Premium Package." Kia said the changes "align Sportage X-Line ICE with Sportage Hybrid (HEV) and Sportage Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) models in terms of their standard offerings." Kia priced the hybrid Sportage X-Line AWD at $35,790 in a release dated July 20. The gas X-Line AWD is $34,790.
Kia said a new Road Rider Brown exterior color is offered, with a two-tone roof available. Kia said "most of the internal combustion engine (ICE) model range remains carryover."
Kia said the Sportage, excluding the PHEV model, is assembled in the United States from U.S. and globally sourced parts. The announcement did not state an on-sale date.
