Lexus Unveils the 2027 IS Special Appearance Package, 350 Assembled for North America
Lexus said Aug. 29 that the 2027 IS Special Appearance Package, built off the IS 350 F SPORT, adds a new green exterior color called Envious and 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels. Lexus said there will only be 350 assembled for the North American market, that the package reaches dealerships later this year, and that pricing and full specs will be shared at a later date.
MIAMI - Lexus unveiled the 2027 Lexus IS Special Appearance Package on Aug. 29 at the last stop of the four-city IS 25th Legacy Tour.
Lexus said it has marked each year since 2022 with a new Special Edition or Special Appearance Package.
The package is built off the IS 350 F SPORT and introduces a new green exterior color Lexus calls Envious, along with 19-inch black BBS forged alloy wheels. Inside, Lexus said, the cabin has black perforated NuLuxe-trimmed seats with Ultrasuede inserts, accented by green stitching and satin chrome-finished trim.
Standard equipment includes the Handling Package, which Lexus lists as a sport-tuned Adaptive Variable Suspension, Drive Mode Select and a Torsen limited-slip rear differential that the company says is rear-wheel drive only. The Technology Package is also standard, with Traffic Jam Assist capability, Lane Change Assist and Front Cross-Traffic Alert.
All 2027 Lexus IS models, including the Special Appearance Package, are powered by a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V6 producing 311 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of peak torque, Lexus said.
Lexus said there will only be 350 Lexus IS vehicles with the Special Appearance Package assembled for the North American market.
The package is scheduled to arrive at Lexus dealerships later this year. Manufacturer's suggested retail pricing and full specs will be shared at a later date, Lexus said.
