Ram Prices the 2027 ProMaster City Starting at $39,995, Including Destination

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. - Ram announced U.S. pricing Aug. 27 for the 2027 ProMaster City, its return to the small commercial van segment, at a starting manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39,995, including $2,595 destination.
Ram also listed four models, each stated plus the same $2,595 destination: Tradesman Cargo, $37,400; SLT Cargo, $38,900; Tradesman Passenger Wagon, $40,100; SLT Passenger Wagon, $41,600.
"When we unveiled the all-new ProMaster City earlier this year, we made a commitment to deliver a starting price below $40,000 because we know the cost of acquisition matters, no matter how small or large your business is," said Matt VanDyke, Ram CEO. "Today, we're delivering on that promise."
Ram lists a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder with 166 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque, an eight-speed automatic and front-wheel drive.
The company lists more than 167 cubic feet of cargo capacity, a 111-inch load floor and 2,000 pounds of payload. Maximum towing is 2,000 pounds when equipped with the available Class 3 trailer hitch, Ram said.
At less than 80 inches tall, the ProMaster City is the only Class 2 commercial van capable of accessing most urban parking garages, Ram said.
ProMaster City comes in Tradesman and SLT trims. Ram offers available rear swing doors or what it calls a segment-exclusive rear liftgate. Ram counts six window and panel combinations, two rear access options and 11 distinct configurations.
Stellantis says the platform under the van has more than 1.5 million units sold.
Ram said production starts in 2026, with vehicles arriving at dealers in the first quarter of 2027.
